Why makes Christmas special?

Christmas is special because it’s the time to be with your loving family, and it’s the birth of our saviour, Jesus.

• First, Christmas is special because it’s the time when Jesus, our saviour, is born.  He was born on December 25th. Now Christmas is always celebrated on the 25th of December because Jesus was born that day.

• Secondly, it’s the time to be with your family, you spend the whole day together celebrating Christmas. It’s not about playing on electronics, and chatting to your friends, it’s about being with your family.

• Thirdly,  it’s the time for getting and giving gifts.  Giving gifts is about giving things to other people.  And gettings is about being thankful for what you’ve been given, from your family and friends.

• Finally, Christmas is a religious celebration for billions of people around the world.  They celebrate Christmas because they are thankful for the birth of Jesus, and spread the word that the Saviour is born!

• Most people celebrate Christmas by going to church, going to beautiful places, spending time with your family and friends.  These are the things that make Christmas special.

Spending time with your family, giving gifts and getting gifts,make Christmas special.

What's wrong with Mr Paterson's writing.

I like pancakes.  My mum makes pancakes on Sundays, she is good at making them.

My brother Shaun is a dab hand on the bbq. All Summer long, we like to have bbqs every night, steak, sausages and meat patties, we eat a lot.

Sometimes I get to have a go on the bbq too, but my mum thinks  I am a bit dangerous.

My favourite things to do are: play soccer with my friends from nextdoor Mickey and Jimmy,  I ride my bike and have water fights, I usually win.
