Our 10 laws

Why did we create 10 Laws?
Well the reason why we created these 10 Laws is because we are working on this topic called Utopia.  We create our own land, we have created flags, the map of our Utopia and many other things.

REFLECTION
What was easy?
 My group found creating the 10 Laws easy because it is basically based off the laws in real life.
What would you change?
Nothing much. We like how our 10 Laws are.

My Free Writing

The Hurting Flames.

I woke up intensely, breathing heavily as if I ran a marathon.  Running out my room into my parents.  Blocked.  As if the fire was guarding the room.

I yelled and yelled.  Then, I realized they had already disappeared into the furious flames.  The whole house was filled with my terrorizing screams.

Shocking how my loud neighbors didn’t take any notice.  I… I couldn’t breathe, I inhaled the smoke.  It felt like I was going to cough out my lungs, my throat couldn’t take it.  Those screams I let out were as powerful, now the smoke is taking over them.  Of course, I gave up, all I know is that I was going to die.  A warm tear rolled down my eye, then came a storm of them.

The nearest puddle was filled with my tears.  My burning skin, the pain I was feeling wasn’t stopping.  My two legs that were made for me wouldn’t work, they were weak.  I used all the power I had left and dragged myself out the boiling house over to the walking path.  I was noticed by a woman driving by, she saved my life, the life that could have been taken away.

She took me immediately to the hospital, she was speeding.  We then came to a stop, being pulled over by the police.  

The woman wasn’t fined, she was allowed to take me to the hospital.

I could tell she didn’t care if she was speeding, all she had in mind was saving me.

Already a week in the hospital… I was diagnosed with lung cancer.

The smoke had damaged my lungs a lot how the fire damaged my family.

Do you still remember the woman who saved me?

She had stayed with me, she entwined her warm hands with my cold ones.  My loving relatives did not take action, they never visited me once.

The woman’s family came, they wished me to get well soon.  The smell of the flowers they gave me filled the whole room.  

The doctor came in with news… The news was heartbreaking.  Even for the woman, she cried.

It tore me apart… I got told… I wasn’t going to live for long.

Within a week, I will disappear and leave this planet.  He gave me two options… Cut me off now or wait.

I chose to give up now.  It’s not worth to wait, I’m going to die anyway.

I was shaking to sleep.  

Everything was dark.

Then came a beam of light, nearly blinding my eyes.  I heard cheering, clapping and singing.

“Where am I?” I thought.

The light was everywhere… I soon realized I was in the kingdom where nothing ends.  Still…. Something didn’t feel right.

Then...

Darkness covered my eyes.

I didn’t know what happened.

Where did the cheering go?

What is happening…?

The most fabulous squirrel :)

One beautiful morning a little squirrel has hidden little many secrets that no one knows.  What does he do?  Oh well he saves the world from many dangers, scream for help and he will come right away since he has amazing hearing.  One time he saved someone from nearly drowning in their car.  Hey!  Don’t say I’m lying, you maybe thinking ‘This squirrel is too small to do all these things, what a big liar!’.  Don’t judge a book by it’s cover because they may have amazing talents that they never show.  

This little squirrel received his powers by working extra hard on becoming strong.  One stormy night he got struck by lightning while walking home, he did not get hurt by how strong he was.  How does he hide his secret so well?  No one knows his secret or neither no one knows that he is the ‘Super Squirrel’.  Other squirrels talk about him but he doesn’t try and get into the conversation because they may ask him if he knows who ‘Super Squirrel’ is.   He saves people because he wants to see how bad the world is and want them to make a big change in their lives.

He wants the world to change into a better place to live in.  Right now this earth he is living in is a big DISASTER!  Litter everywhere and bad guys stealing things that don’t belong to them.  One fine day he found a little zip that could change him into a superman costume!  He has found his inner-superman.  Does anyone know him?  Yes, only one person knows him and that person is not a squirrel but a human.  This squirrel has got missions everyday to save the earth from things that could change the world forever!  

Maybe one day you’ll be a superhero of your own that could also save the earth.
